In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Platform differences in liquidity, user base composition, and trading mechanics can create price gaps. Kalshi and Polymarket attract different trader demographics and operate under distinct regulatory frameworks, which influences how information flows into prices. One platform may have deeper liquidity in esports contracts, drawing more sophisticated bettors, while the other reflects a broader retail audience. Additionally, each platform's fee structure and order-matching engine can shift marginal pricing. These gaps often close as arbitrageurs trade across venues, but temporary divergences are normal and can signal where conviction is strongest.
Team roster changes, player injuries, or recent performance trends in the OCS North America Stage 2 can shift trader conviction significantly. Scrimmage results, coaching adjustments, or meta shifts in Overwatch patch notes may also influence perceived matchup strength. Public statements from team management or player social media activity occasionally spark repricing. Betting volume spikes closer to match day often reflect sharper money entering the market. Monitor esports news outlets and team announcements for catalysts that could reshape expectations before the series begins.
