This market refers to the Overwatch Upper bracket quarterfinal 1 match between Crazy Raccoon and Team Secret in the OCS Midseason Championship Group B, initially scheduled for July 29 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Crazy Raccoon" if Crazy Raccoon win the match against Team Secret. This market will resolve to "Team Secret" if Team Secret win the match against Crazy Raccoon. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. For this market, prediction market prices tend to incorporate broader information flows and can shift more dynamically as events unfold. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value, though both reflect genuine uncertainty about the outcome.
This market resolves around Jul 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the final result of the match as officially recorded by the tournament organizers and esports community sources. Until that point, odds may fluctuate based on team performance, roster updates, and other factors that traders believe will influence the game. Once the match concludes and the winner is confirmed, the market settles accordingly.
Several catalysts could shift odds before Jul 29, 2026. Team roster changes, player injuries, or unexpected roster swaps would likely trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results, scrim outcomes, and public statements from team management can sway trader sentiment. Meta shifts in the game itself—balance patches or hero changes—may also influence perceived team strength. Additionally, betting patterns and large trades on Polymarket can create momentum, drawing other traders and amplifying price moves as the match approaches.
