Description

This market refers to the Overwatch match between Cheeseburger and SuperBad in the OCS Korea Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 12 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Cheeseburger" if Cheeseburger win the match against SuperBad. This market will resolve to "SuperBad" if SuperBad win the match against Cheeseburger. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets across Polymarket and Kalshi apply identical resolution logic: official Liquipedia data with credible reporting fallback, 7-day delay threshold, 50-50 for cancellations/ties/incomplete matches, and consistent treatment of forfeits and walkovers.Primary resolution logic: Liquipedia (https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page); credible reporting consensus (including video evidence) if Liquipedia does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match outcome resolves to the team winning the best-of-three series based on official results.
  • Individual game winners (Game 1, Game 2) resolve based on the winner of each completed game only.
  • Total games resolves to Over if 3 or more games are played, Under if fewer than 3 games are played.
  • Forfeits, disqualifications, and walkovers count toward totals and game outcomes only if the match is completed; if a clinching game is forfeited, the match counts as completed.
  • Pre-match forfeits, disqualifications, or walkovers (team withdraws before start) resolve match outcome to 50-50.
  • Incomplete matches where one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover mid-series resolve match outcome to the winning team; game totals resolve 50-50.
  • Cancellations, ties, or delays beyond 7 days from scheduled date without a winner determined resolve all markets to 50-50.
  • If a game is not completed for any reason, that game market resolves 50-50.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Clinching game forfeited: If the match-clinching game is forfeited, the match counts as completed and resolves to the team that clinched; game total counts all games played including the forfeited clincher.
  • Mid-series forfeiture: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, match outcome resolves to the winning team; game total resolves 50-50.
  • Pre-match forfeiture: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over before the match begins, match outcome resolves 50-50; game total resolves 50-50.
  • Delay beyond 7 days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (June 12, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Team name discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, abbreviations, sponsor tags, or formatting differences are treated as referring to the same team if the underlying team can be clearly identified; if ambiguous or matches another team in the competition, resolve 50-50.
Timing: Resolution occurs upon official publication by Liquipedia or within 2 hours of event conclusion via credible reporting consensus. Markets remain open until the match concludes or the 7-day delay threshold is exceeded. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet.
