On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb. Conversely, if sentiment shifts towards another outcome, its share price will increase while the initial outcome’s price decreases, creating a dynamic and responsive pricing system.
