On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares of each exact-score outcome, with the share price representing the implied probability of that result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market uses an automated market maker model where liquidity pools determine the cost to trade in or out of any scoreline. As more capital flows into one outcome—say, a 1–0 Kansas City victory—that share price rises and others adjust downward to maintain the pool's mathematical balance. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures this market reflects the collective forecast of all active traders in real time.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, once the Orlando Pride versus Kansas City Current match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation play. Traders holding shares in the correct final score receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, pending confirmation from official league records and the platform's verification process.
Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, and recent form trends. Weather conditions on match day can influence play style and scoring likelihood. Betting syndicates or sharp traders entering large positions often trigger rapid repricing across all scorelines. Social media sentiment, expert predictions, and pre-match analysis from sports media may also shift retail trader positioning. Late-breaking tactical changes, referee assignments, or venue factors can sway probabilities in the final hours before kickoff. Each of these signals typically causes traders to rebalance their holdings, moving prices toward new equilibrium levels.
