Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. These differences can arise from varying levels of information, analytical approaches, and biases among bettors and market participants. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast probabilities, especially when a significant amount of volume is traded, as information is quickly incorporated into the prices.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about its probability. As more shares are traded, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s liquidity, currently at $362, influences how quickly prices respond to new information and the tightness of the spread between the buy and sell prices for each outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
