These markets evaluate how many points Oklahoma and Georgia score specifically in the fourth quarter of their college football game. Each market has a different threshold, determining whether the combined fourth-quarter scoring exceeds that level.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the fourth quarter (excluding overtime) of the Oklahoma vs Georgia college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026. Each market has a unique threshold, ranging from over 2.5 points to over 27.5 points. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored in the fourth quarter count, and overtime points are excluded from all calculations.
Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can sometimes differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals trading based on their own information and beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on team performance, injuries, or even weather conditions, and may indicate where the crowd sees value that sportsbooks haven't fully priced in.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts. The price of a contract represents the probability of the event occurring – in this case, the 4th quarter total points being over or under 13.5. As more traders buy contracts predicting an outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the collective intelligence of those trading.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point total scored in the 4th quarter of the Oklahoma vs Georgia game will be used to determine whether the total exceeds 13.5 points or not. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Oklahoma or Georgia would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favoring a high-scoring or low-scoring game, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, late-breaking news about coaching strategies or team morale could also shift the market’s perception of the likely 4th quarter total, leading to adjustments in contract prices.
