Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and often incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional odds, and can provide a useful signal for informed bettors. However, it is important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees a specific result.
