Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Petrovac vs. Žalgiris exact score market displays real-time odds and historical price movements for each possible final scoreline. Traders can monitor how the probability of individual outcomes shifts as match day approaches, with live updates reflecting new trades and market sentiment. The interface shows current bid-ask spreads, cumulative volume, and a price history chart so participants can assess momentum and volatility across all exact score combinations throughout the trading window.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one aggregate decentralized trader beliefs through continuous pricing. Sportsbooks may adjust lines faster for sharp action, whereas this market's odds emerge organically from peer-to-peer trading. Both can offer valuable signals, but prediction markets sometimes capture longer-tail information or niche sentiment that conventional oddsmakers miss.

On Polymarket, traders set prices for each exact score outcome by buying and selling shares, with the contract price reflecting the collective probability estimate. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Every trade updates the order book, and the mid-market price converges toward equilibrium as new information arrives. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices adjust; deeper pools allow larger trades with less slippage, while thin markets may show wider spreads and slower price discovery for less-popular scorelines.

This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at full-time whistle, with no extra time or penalty shootout factored in unless the competition format explicitly requires it. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless.

Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or managerial decisions—can shift probabilities significantly. Recent form, head-to-head records, and home-field advantage all influence trader expectations. Weather conditions, referee assignments, and late-breaking tactical announcements may also trigger repricing. As match day nears, pre-match analysis and expert commentary often drive volume spikes and volatility. Close to kickoff, final team sheets and any last-minute roster updates typically generate sharp moves across all scoreline outcomes.
