On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices through buying and selling shares of possible outcomes, creating a dynamic market price that reflects their collective expectations. The current top outcome’s probability is expressed as a percentage, derived from the relative liquidity and trading volume behind each score option. As new data emerges — such as player injuries or weather conditions — these prices can shift rapidly, driven purely by participant activity and sentiment on the platform.
This market resolves around Aug 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact final score will be compared against the traded outcomes, and the matching shares will settle accordingly. Timing depends on official match conclusion and subsequent data confirmation through trusted sports news and league announcements, ensuring an accurate and transparent resolution process for all participants.
Injuries to key players, changes in coaching strategy, or weather conditions affecting match play could significantly influence this market. Additionally, early goal scoring or momentum shifts during the live match may cause rapid price adjustments as traders react in real time. Media reports, expert analysis, and fan sentiment leading up to the game can also shape market expectations, especially if new information suggests a higher or lower probability for particular scorelines.
