Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit from margins, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it's important to remember that prediction market odds are dynamic and change based on trading activity, potentially converging with or diverging from sportsbook lines over time.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions for either OFI Crete or AE Kifisia could significantly shift the odds. Additionally, real-time updates during the first half of the match, such as early goals or red cards, will likely trigger substantial price movements. Broader factors like weather conditions or even public sentiment expressed on social media could also play a role, though to a lesser extent, in influencing traders' decisions.
