This market will resolve according to the number of views the latest YouTube video posted by MrBeast gets in the first 120 hours after being posted. This market may not resolve until the 120 hours are complete, regardless of whether a strike is reached earlier. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. The resolution source for this market is MrBeast's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@MrBeast), specifically the 'views' counter for the described video. Note: This market refers to the video titled "I Survived 7 Days in the Arctic", which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpQSUjNsNm0. Shorts, previews, or other videos released other than the referenced video will not be considered.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-time trader sentiment and aggregate expectations about MrBeast video performance on day 5. These market-derived probabilities often differ from traditional analyst forecasts or YouTube performance benchmarks because they incorporate live betting activity and continuous price discovery. While analysts may rely on historical video data and growth trends, prediction markets allow participants to stake capital on outcomes, creating financial incentives for accuracy. Comparing the two approaches reveals whether the market is more bullish or bearish than expert predictions on day-5 view counts.
On Polymarket, the day-5 view count for a MrBeast video is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome (typically defined by view-count brackets or thresholds) has a price reflecting the market's estimated probability. Traders profit by correctly predicting whether the video will fall into their chosen range by the end of day 5. The price discovery process is continuous, with volumes and odds shifting as new information about video performance becomes available, allowing participants to enter or exit positions dynamically.
The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026. Resolution is determined by the actual view count recorded for the specified MrBeast video at the end of day 5 from its release. The exact view count is typically verified through YouTube's public metrics or a designated data source. Outcomes are usually structured around predefined view-count brackets or thresholds, and whichever bracket or condition matches the final verified count determines which shares pay out. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their winnings upon settlement.
Several factors can shift market odds for day-5 views. Early performance metrics—such as views in the first 24 hours—provide strong signals about trajectory and momentum. Social media engagement, shares, and comments influence algorithmic promotion on YouTube. Major news or controversies involving MrBeast could accelerate or dampen viewership. Competing content releases or platform algorithm changes may redirect traffic. Geographic or demographic trends in viewership patterns can also affect totals. Additionally, any announcements about video content, collaborations, or promotional campaigns closer to the release date could move trader expectations and market prices substantially.
