This market refers to the cricket match between Jersey and Nepal scheduled for July 15 2026 in ODI Series Jersey vs Nepal. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and financial risk. This market aggregates the views of thousands of independent forecasters with real money at stake, which can sometimes surface insights sportsbooks miss—though both sources remain valuable for forming your own view on the likely outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into continuous odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing each possible outcome, and the price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by the market at any moment. As more capital flows toward one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcome's price falls, creating a real-time probability estimate that adjusts instantly with new trades.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will reflect the actual result of the series as documented by official cricket authorities and major sports news outlets. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares based on their expectations, and prices may shift as match results unfold and new information becomes available.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates, recent form and head-to-head records, and weather forecasts for match venues. Individual match results during the series will also drive sharp repricing as traders update their expectations based on actual performance. Betting market moves at traditional sportsbooks, expert commentary, and social media sentiment can trigger waves of trading activity here as well. Any shift in perceived team strength or match conditions typically translates into rapid price movement.
