This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Combined XI and Wayanad scheduled for 2026-06-28 in NSK Trophy State T20. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Combined XI will be considered correct if Combined XI is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Wayanad will be considered correct if Wayanad is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and generate profit margins, while prediction markets like this one derive prices from trader consensus without a built-in house edge. Prediction markets can reflect sharper, more granular information when participants have specialized knowledge or access to real-time data. However, sportsbooks may adjust faster during breaking news or high-volume betting. For a niche event like the NSK Trophy toss, prediction market pricing may be more efficient than traditional sportsbook lines, particularly if the trader base includes cricket analysts with direct insight.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism that adjusts odds based on the volume and direction of incoming bets. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome is represented as a tradable contract, and the price of each reflects the collective probability assigned by all active participants. As more traders buy or sell a particular outcome, the price moves to rebalance supply and demand. This continuous pricing model ensures liquidity and allows participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, real-time rates throughout the market's lifetime.
This market resolves around Jul 6, 2026, once the NSK Trophy T20 match between Combined XI and Wayanad is complete and the toss result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official toss call recorded at the start of play. Traders holding positions on the winning outcome will receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically confirmed within hours of the match conclusion, once the toss result is publicly confirmed by the match officials or the tournament organizer.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment before the match begins. Changes in team composition, injury announcements, or last-minute roster updates might influence perceived toss advantage. Weather conditions at the venue could also matter, as some traders may believe certain conditions favor particular captains' toss strategies. Media reports or expert commentary on team preferences might sway the market. Additionally, if one team is heavily favored to win the match overall, traders might adjust toss odds based on assumptions about which captain would prefer batting or bowling first. Real-time updates from the venue on the morning of the match could trigger final price adjustments.
