NRG and FURIA Esports compete in the second map of their VCT Americas Stage 2 2026 Valorant match scheduled for July 24, 2026. The outcome depends on which team wins the map during official play.
Resolution is determined by the official result of map 2 play between the two teams. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours from the original July 24, 2026 5:00 PM EDT start time, or if either is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs directly through price discovery. For this market, comparing Kalshi odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether professional bettors and casual traders disagree on the likely outcome. Persistent gaps may signal value or highlight where one venue has fresher information.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the implied probability that outcome will occur, ranging from 0 to 100 cents. As new trades execute, prices adjust instantly to reflect updated consensus. Wider bid-ask spreads indicate lower liquidity and higher uncertainty, while tight spreads suggest strong agreement among participants on the likely result.
This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, once the Map 2 result is finalized and verifiable from credible public sources covering the esports event. The outcome will be confirmed based on which team wins the map according to official match records. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as the match approaches and new information becomes available. Resolution is typically swift after the map concludes, allowing payouts to settle quickly.
Team roster changes, player injuries, or recent performance trends can shift trader sentiment before the match begins. In-game events—such as early round wins, economy advantages, or tactical adjustments—will drive sharp price moves as the map unfolds. Broadcast commentary, analyst predictions, and live betting activity on other platforms may also influence Kalshi traders. Weather, server stability, or unexpected delays could introduce volatility. Watch for lineup confirmations and pre-match interviews for last-minute conviction shifts.
