Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 3, 2026, using the same primary source (EFL/governing body statistics) and the same three mutually exclusive outcomes (Norwich win, Portsmouth win, or draw).
Primary resolution logic:
Official EFL Championship statistics and the governing body or event organizers' final match records
Core resolution logic:
Exactly one of three markets will resolve YES: Norwich City FC wins, Portsmouth FC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Resolution is based on the outcome after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only; extra time and penalties are excluded.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and the two win markets resolve NO.
Resolution uses official EFL statistics as the primary source; if not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the rescheduled match is completed and the final result is determined.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES (treating cancellation as a non-decisive outcome), while both win markets resolve NO.
Delayed Official Statistics: If the EFL does not publish official statistics within 2 hours of match conclusion, resolution may use consensus from credible sports reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by the EFL or governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion using credible reporting if official statistics are delayed.
