These markets evaluate how many points will be scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Northern Illinois and Arizona. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific period.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Northern Illinois vs Arizona college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026. For any market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold, it resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Postponements are permitted if the game starts within 48 hours of the original time, in which case markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within this window, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during regulation 4th quarter play count; overtime points are excluded from all calculations.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when public opinion strongly favors one outcome. Comparing the two can offer a broader perspective on the likely result of the Northern Illinois vs Arizona game.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the 4th quarter total score. The price of a contract indicates the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective prediction. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe the total will be high, they’ll buy contracts representing higher scores, driving up the price.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the 4th quarter of the Northern Illinois vs Arizona game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total points scored in the 4th quarter will be used to determine which contracts pay out. The resolution process is designed to be objective and based on publicly available data, ensuring a fair and transparent outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Northern Illinois or Arizona would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, especially if they are expected to impact scoring, could also shift the market. Late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions might also affect trader sentiment. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of the likely 4th quarter total could move this market.
