This set of markets tracks how many touchdowns are scored by players catching passes during an upcoming college football game. Each market corresponds to a specific threshold of receiving touchdowns for either team, determining whether that threshold is met during the match.
All markets resolve based on the official number of receiving touchdowns scored by each team in the North Carolina vs TCU college football game scheduled for August 29, 2026, including any touchdowns scored during overtime periods. A receiving touchdown is defined as one scored by the player who caught the pass; if another player recovers a fumble and scores, it does not count as a receiving touchdown, unless the original receiving player recovers their own fumble and scores. Successful two-point conversions, regardless of when they occur, do not count toward any market outcome. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, all markets remain open and resolve according to the final official result. If the game fails to start within this 48-hour window, all markets will resolve to a fair price. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks referenced belong to their respective owners.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, traders actively set prices through buying and selling contracts that represent each possible outcome. The current probability reflects collective trader assessment of which team is more likely to score receiving touchdowns, updated instantly with each trade. This continuous pricing mechanism allows for rapid adjustments based on new information, news, and shifting expectations leading up to the game.
This market resolves around Aug 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final count of receiving touchdowns for each team will determine the result, closing the market immediately after the game’s official statistics are published and widely accepted.
Injuries to key offensive players, changes in coaching strategy, or significant performance shifts in early game matchups could all move this market. Trader reactions to practice reports, weather forecasts, and betting trends will also influence odds. Any development affecting the teams’ offensive efficiency or game plan is likely to shift perceptions of which side will score more receiving touchdowns before Aug 29, 2026.
