These markets focus on predicting whether Virginia or North Carolina State will win the fourth quarter of their college football game by a specific margin. Outcomes depend solely on points scored in the final quarter, excluding any overtime periods.
The markets resolve based on the point differential in the fourth quarter of the North Carolina State vs. Virginia college football game scheduled for August 29, 2026, excluding overtime. Each market specifies a different threshold for the winning team's margin of victory within that quarter. If Virginia exceeds the specified point differential in its favor during the fourth quarter, the corresponding 'Virginia wins by over X points' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if North Carolina State exceeds the specified point differential in its favor during the same period, the relevant 'North Carolina State wins by over X points' market resolves to Yes. All markets consider only points scored during regulation time of the fourth quarter, with no inclusion of overtime scores. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of the original start time, the markets remain active and resolve according to the final result. If the game does not start within this 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants regardless of the specific outcome thresholds.
This market resolves around Aug 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result depends solely on the official game statistics for the 4th quarter scoring margin, determining whether North Carolina State covers the set spread against Virginia in that specific period.
Key signals that could shift this market include late-game injury updates, coaching changes, or momentum swings during the contest. Any development altering the perceived likelihood of NC State covering the 4th quarter spread — such as a star player exit or a surge in offensive efficiency — may cause rapid price adjustments as traders react to new information.
