This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Cayman Islands and Bermuda scheduled for September 23 2026 at 11:00 AM ET in North American Cup T20I. The outcome corresponding to Cayman Islands will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Cayman Islands. The outcome corresponding to Bermuda will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Bermuda. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis that may not be immediately priced into traditional sportsbook odds. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights. You may find that the implied probabilities from Polymarket align with sportsbook odds, or diverge if traders believe the sportsbook is mispricing a particular outcome. It’s a useful comparison to see where the collective intelligence differs from professional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player being the top batter. As more people buy shares in a particular player, the price of those shares increases, reflecting a higher probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that player winning. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective prediction of the outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player is officially declared the top batter in the North American Cup T20I match between the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. The official match results, as reported by recognized sports authorities, will determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the results against these sources to ensure an accurate and transparent resolution of this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes to the team lineups would likely have a significant impact. Weather conditions on match day could also play a role, as they may affect batting conditions. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or strategic changes could also move the market. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of a player’s likelihood of performing well as top batter has the potential to shift trading volume and influence prices.
