This market refers to the cricket match between Cayman Islands and Bermuda scheduled for September 23 2026 at 11:00 AM ET in North American Cup T20I. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges, offering potential value for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's potential results.
This market resolves around Sep 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the North American Cup T20I match between the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the settlement of this market. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how their positions will be settled.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, or changes in weather conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about playing conditions or even pre-match analysis from respected cricket commentators could also move the market. Furthermore, large trades on Polymarket by influential traders could create momentum and drive price changes, reflecting a change in perceived probabilities as the match approaches.
