This market applies only to the second match between Cayman Islands and Bahamas on September 24, 2026, scheduled for 3:30 PM ET (2:30 PM Cayman Islands time). It does not apply to their earlier match scheduled for 11:00 AM ET (10:00 AM Cayman Islands time) that day. This market refers to the cricket match between Cayman Islands and Bahamas scheduled for September 24 2026 at 3:30 PM ET in North American Cup T20I. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, particularly before significant events or when public opinion strongly favors one outcome. Examining these differences can be insightful, as prediction markets sometimes anticipate outcomes more accurately than traditional methods, though past performance is not indicative of future results.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are traded, the price of those shares adjusts, reflecting the collective sentiment of the market. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring; a share priced at 60 means there’s a 60% implied probability of that outcome. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and predictions of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the North American Cup T20I match between the Cayman Islands and Bahamas. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the outcome of this market. Any disputes or official adjustments to the match results will be considered in the resolution process, ensuring an accurate and fair determination of the winning outcome.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, or changes in weather conditions could significantly impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player form or strategic changes could also cause shifts in the odds. Furthermore, major upsets in other related matches or shifts in public perception could influence trading activity. As the match approaches, any updates from reliable sources about playing conditions or team morale will likely be closely monitored by traders and reflected in the market price.
