This market resolves based on the overall method of finish for the fight, regardless of which fighter achieves it. Possible outcomes include knockout, technical knockout, disqualification, submission, decision, or a draw/no contest.
The market resolves based on the general method of finish for the fight, irrespective of which fighter secures it. A win by knockout (KO), technical knockout (TKO), or disqualification (DQ) by either competitor resolves the 'KO/TKO/DQ' market. A submission by either fighter resolves the 'Submission' market. A win by decision by either competitor resolves the 'Decision' market. If the fight ends in a draw or no contest, the 'Draw/No Contest' market resolves. Technical decisions are considered decisions and do not count toward KO/TKO/DQ or Submission outcomes. Kalshi emphasizes it is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it may indicate that prediction market participants have access to or believe they have identified information not yet fully priced into the sportsbook lines. However, as the event approaches, these odds tend to converge as more information becomes available.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market's assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective intelligence of the crowd. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth, indicated by the number of buy and sell orders at various price points, provides insight into the strength of conviction behind different outcomes. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to new information and evolving expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The method of finish – whether by knockout, technical knockout, submission, or decision – will be determined by the official result declared by the relevant combat sports authority. The final result will be based on the official scorecard or stoppage ruling, and any subsequent appeals or adjustments will be considered to ensure an accurate and definitive outcome for this market. Traders will be able to see the resolution details on Kalshi once they are available.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or tactical adjustments revealed during pre-fight press conferences could shift expectations. Public sentiment, as reflected in social media and expert analysis, can also play a role. Furthermore, the release of updated fighter statistics or analysis of past performance could lead to price movements. Unexpected developments in the lead-up to the fight, such as weight-cutting issues or last-minute changes to the fight card, could also significantly impact this market.
