Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus and real-money risk. For exact score markets, sportsbooks typically offer limited outcome selections, whereas this market aggregates belief across the full range of possible scorelines. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion on the match outcome differs from bookmaker pricing.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders buy and sell shares in each exact score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each scoreline has its own contract, and the combined probability of all outcomes sums to 100 percent. Traders profit by correctly predicting the final score, and the price of each outcome reflects the collective confidence of the market at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jul 28, 2026, once the NK Celje vs. Egnatia match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation time. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically confirmed within hours of the final whistle.
Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—can shift odds significantly, as can recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day. Betting syndicate activity and sharp money flowing into or out of specific scorelines often signal where informed traders see value. As the match approaches, odds typically tighten around the most likely outcomes. Live updates during the game itself will drive rapid repricing as goals are scored, and late-match developments can create sharp swings in the probability of less-favored scorelines.
