This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Ghana and Nigeria scheduled for September 26 2026 at 9:00 AM ET in Nigeria Quadrangular T20 Series. The outcome corresponding to Ghana will be considered correct if Ghana is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Nigeria will be considered correct if Nigeria is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by the collective actions of all traders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date aggregate forecast of the toss result.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins – will be the determining factor. The official result announced by the match officials will be used to settle this market. Traders who correctly predicted the winning team of the toss will receive a payout based on the final share price at the time of resolution. It's important to monitor news sources leading up to and during the match to stay informed about any potential delays or changes.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team form, potential changes to playing lineups, or even weather conditions impacting the toss could all serve as catalysts. Unexpected announcements related to player availability or strategic decisions could also lead to significant price movements. Public sentiment, as reflected in social media or expert analysis, might also play a role, though the market's price is ultimately determined by trading volume on Polymarket and the collective assessment of traders.
