Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms use the same resolution criteria based on official MLB statistics or credible reporting consensus for game outcomes and first-inning runs.Primary resolution logic: Official MLB statistics or credible reporting consensus

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to the winning team based on official MLB results
  • If the game is postponed, the market remains open until completed
  • If the game is canceled with no makeup, or ends in a tie, the market resolves 50-50
  • First-inning run market resolves based on whether any run is scored in the first inning

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: Market remains open until the game is completed; resolution follows the same rules once played
  • Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no makeup, the market resolves 50-50
  • Tie: If the game ends in a tie, the market resolves 50-50
Timing: Resolution occurs when official MLB statistics are published, or within 24 hours of the game if statistics are delayed, using credible reporting consensus if necessaryOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms.
