This market tracks which team leads after the first three innings of the New York Yankees versus Washington game on July 10, 2026. The outcome depends on the score at the end of the third inning, with a tie being a possible result.
Resolution is determined by comparing the score of the New York Y and Washington teams at the end of the first 3 innings of their professional baseball game originally scheduled for July 10, 2026 at 6:45 PM EDT. If New York Y has more runs, the New York Y strike resolves to Yes. If Washington has more runs, the Washington strike resolves to Yes. If both teams have scored an equal number of runs, the Tie strike resolves to Yes and all team strikes resolve to No. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled game concludes within two days.
Prediction market odds on Kalshi often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker pricing. Sportsbooks adjust lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate thousands of independent forecasts. For this matchup, comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value or where sharp money is flowing. Prediction markets tend to be more responsive to breaking news and live developments, making them useful for spotting consensus shifts that sportsbooks lag on.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts at bid-ask spreads they set themselves. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the collective probability assigned by active traders, ranging from 0 to 100 cents. As new information emerges—injuries, weather, lineup changes—traders adjust their orders, and the price moves to reflect updated expectations. This decentralized pricing model ensures the market stays responsive to real-world developments throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, once the first three innings of the game are complete and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official score recorded after the third inning concludes. Traders should monitor the game live and be aware that any delays, weather interruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances may affect the exact resolution timing. Final confirmation typically comes within hours of the inning's conclusion.
Key catalysts for this market include lineup announcements, starting pitcher confirmations, and any last-minute roster changes or injuries. Weather conditions at game time—wind speed, temperature, and precipitation—can significantly impact early-inning scoring. Breaking news about player availability or unexpected managerial decisions often triggers sharp repricing. Live game action itself, such as early runs, errors, or momentum shifts in the first inning, will drive rapid trader reaction. Monitor team news feeds and weather forecasts closely, as these factors typically generate the largest price swings before and during the opening frames.
