The event resolves based on the exact scoreline of the New York City FC vs Club Santos Laguna professional Leagues Cup soccer match scheduled for August 6, 2026. A correct prediction of the match's final score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time—but not including extra time or penalties—will result in a 'Yes' resolution for the corresponding market. The resolution exclusively considers the regular 90-minute period plus any added stoppage time, with no account for extended play or penalty decisions.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect a broader, decentralized pool of traders who may have more granular insights or different risk appetites. While sportsbooks set fixed odds based on their own models and liability management, prediction markets price outcomes dynamically through trading activity. This can lead to variations in implied probabilities, especially for less common scores. Traders should compare both sources to identify potential value or divergent views on the likely result.
