Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi markets resolve based on the official final score after 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time, with consistent treatment of cancellations and post hoc score revisionsPrimary resolution logic: Official statistics from the governing body or event organizers, with credible reporting as fallback if official data is unavailable within 2 hours post-match

Core resolution logic:

  • Resolve based on the exact score at the end of 90 minutes plus stoppage time
  • Exclude results from extra time and penalty shoot-outs
  • If match is canceled with no make-up game, resolve to 0-0
  • Markets remain open for postponed matches until completed
  • Revisions to officially declared scores after market resolution are ignored

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: Market remains open until match is completed; if ultimately canceled, resolves to 0-0
  • Delayed Official Data: If official data unavailable within 2 hours after match conclusion, use consensus from credible reporting sources
Timing: Resolution occurs after the match concludes, based on the official final score recognized by the governing body or event organizers (or credible reporting if official data is delayed)Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
