This set of markets focuses on determining which individual player will achieve the highest receiving yards in an upcoming football game. Each market is tied to a specific player, resolving positively if that player leads all participants in receiving yards for the match.
Each market resolves to Yes if the specified player records the most receiving yards among all players in the New England vs Seattle Pro Football game scheduled for Sep 9, 2026. If the designated player does not participate, the market resolves to No. In the event of a tie for the highest receiving yards among one or more players, the market resolves to a fractional value of 1/N, where N is the number of players tied. Market holders will receive $1 minus the Yes payout in such tied scenarios. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and attempt to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. As more information becomes available – such as injury reports or weather forecasts – and as the event approaches, you may see the prices on Kalshi converge or diverge from traditional sportsbook offerings. It’s common to find that prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices will fluctuate, providing a real-time assessment of expectations for the New England versus Seattle game’s receiving yards leader. The market is driven entirely by trader activity.
This market resolves around Sep 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The player with the most receiving yards in the New England versus Seattle game, as officially recorded by the NFL, will determine the winning contract. Official NFL statistics will be used to verify the outcome. Traders holding contracts on the winning player will receive a payout, while those holding contracts on losing players will not.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding injuries to key wide receivers or tight ends on either the New England or Seattle teams would likely cause price shifts. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly conditions that favor passing or running, could also influence trading activity. Unexpected changes in quarterback performance or coaching strategies could also move the market. Finally, general news and analysis surrounding the game, including expert predictions, might affect trader sentiment and therefore the prices on Kalshi.
