This set of markets tracks the potential point differential between New England and Jacksonville in their upcoming football game. Each market corresponds to a specific range of points by which either team could win. The outcome depends entirely on the final score of the game, including any overtime periods.
The markets resolve based on the point differential between New England and Jacksonville in their full game, including any overtime. If Jacksonville wins by exactly 0 points (a tie), between 1 and 6 points, between 7 and 14 points, or 15 or more points, the corresponding Jacksonville-winning-margin market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if New England wins by between 1 and 6 points, between 7 and 14 points, or 15 or more points, the corresponding New England-winning-margin market resolves to Yes. Only one market will resolve to Yes, reflecting the actual point differential of the game. All markets are independent of any official league affiliations, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially in the days leading up to an event. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, whereas this market aggregates the diverse opinions of informed traders. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes move more quickly in response to breaking news or significant betting activity. It's common to see initial discrepancies between the two, which often narrow as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different winning margin ranges for the New England versus Jacksonville game. The price of each contract reflects the market's assessment of the probability of that specific margin occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to set prices accurately, as they can profit by correctly predicting the outcome. As more traders participate, the prices converge towards a collective estimate of the likely winning margin, representing the aggregated forecast of the crowd.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final winning margin of the New England versus Jacksonville game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result reported by the NFL, and the contract corresponding to the correct winning margin range will pay out to its holders. Traders should monitor official sources for the game's final score to understand when and how this market will be settled.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either New England or Jacksonville would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest adverse conditions, could also shift expectations. Significant betting patterns in traditional sportsbooks, or even large-volume trades on Kalshi, could influence prices as traders react to perceived advantages or disadvantages. Finally, any late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions could also move the market before Sep 27, 2026.
