In the upcoming MLS game between New England Revolution and Atlanta United FC, scheduled for July 25, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the New England Revolution vs. Atlanta United FC match originally scheduled for July 25, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Resolution is based on the final goal differential in the New England vs Atlanta professional MLS soccer game originally scheduled for July 25, 2026, measured after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (excluding extra time or penalties). The event encompasses four distinct outcomes: New England winning by more than 2.5 goals, New England winning by more than 1.5 goals, Atlanta winning by more than 1.5 goals, and Atlanta winning by more than 2.5 goals. Each outcome resolves independently to Yes if its specified margin condition is met.
Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they operate on distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from continuous trader supply and demand. In this market, traders are directly wagering on the exact final score rather than spreads or totals, which can produce sharper, more granular pricing than you'll find at a typical sportsbook. Prediction market odds often reflect real-time information flow and can shift rapidly as new data emerges, whereas sportsbook lines adjust more deliberately. Comparing the two can reveal whether one venue perceives edge relative to the other.
Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or tactical shifts—typically drives sharp repricing in exact-score markets. Weather conditions, home-field advantage shifts, and recent form trends also influence trader conviction. Betting-market activity at sportsbooks can cascade into prediction markets as arbitrageurs and sharp bettors cross-post positions. Late-breaking roster updates or managerial announcements in the hours before kickoff often trigger volatile repricing. As match time approaches, real-time in-game events (early goals, red cards, momentum swings) will cause rapid probability shifts, especially if the scoreline remains close or unexpected.
