Description

These markets track whether the Netherlands or South Africa will exceed specific run thresholds in their Women's T20 World Cup cricket match scheduled for June 25, 2026. Each team's performance is evaluated independently across three different scoring benchmarks.

Kalshi

Resolution is based on actual runs scored by each team in the completed match. If the match is cancelled before play begins or delayed more than 48 hours from the scheduled start, all markets resolve to fair market price as determined by the Exchange. If play begins but no official result is declared (including via DLS method), markets resolve to fair market price, except for statistics already definitively achieved, which resolve on recorded results. For shortened matches with an official result declared through ICC-approved methods such as DLS, statistical markets resolve based on actual recorded statistics only, with no projections or adjustments applied.

Frequently asked questions

On Kalshi, the Netherlands vs South Africa team runs market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for this prediction market. The interface displays current pricing, historical price movements, and 24-hour trading volume, giving traders a complete view of how the market is valuing each team's total run output. This dashboard lets you monitor shifts in sentiment as new match information emerges, helping you make informed decisions about when to enter or exit positions on either team's projected scoring performance.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. This market may price outcomes differently than traditional sportsbooks, especially as match conditions change or new information surfaces. Comparing the two can reveal where traders see value that bookmakers may have overlooked, though both should be monitored for the most complete picture.

On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and offers that determine the real-time odds for each team's total runs. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices adjust dynamically as new trades execute and as match developments—such as player injuries, weather, or early performance—shift trader expectations. The spread between bid and ask reflects the market's confidence in the outcome; tighter spreads indicate higher consensus, while wider spreads suggest uncertainty or lower liquidity.

This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the final team run totals are confirmed. The outcome is verified against credible public sources reporting the official match statistics. Until that point, prices will fluctuate based on live match developments, team form, and trader sentiment. Early resolution is possible if circumstances make the event outcome certain before the scheduled end date.

Several factors could shift prices significantly before Jun 25, 2026. Key player injuries or unexpected absences would alter team strength and scoring potential. Weather conditions on match day—such as rain or extreme heat—can affect run-scoring rates and strategy. Team form leading up to the match, recent head-to-head results, and pitch conditions at the venue all influence trader expectations. Breaking news about team selection, coaching changes, or external circumstances may also trigger rapid repricing as the market incorporates new information.
