This event determines which team wins the second half of the Netherlands vs Morocco FIFA World Cup match on June 29, 2026, or whether the second half ends in a tie. A tie occurs when no goals are scored or both teams score equally during the second half.
Resolution is based on the outcome of the second half (45 minutes plus stoppage time) of the Netherlands vs Morocco FIFA World Cup match originally scheduled for June 29, 2026. The market resolves to Yes for Netherlands if they score more goals than Morocco during the second half, to Yes for Morocco if they score more goals than Netherlands during the second half, or to Yes for Tie if no goals are scored during the half or both teams score an equal number of goals. If the match is cancelled or rescheduled more than two weeks away, the market resolves to a fair price in accordance with the rules.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market's odds may move faster or slower than traditional sportsbooks depending on information flow and trader conviction. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value relative to professional oddsmakers, though both should be viewed as independent estimates rather than consensus truth.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief about the probability of that team winning the second half. As traders place bids and offers, the market price adjusts in real time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices move, and wider spreads may appear during periods of lower activity or high uncertainty.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the match concludes and the second half result is confirmed. The outcome will be verified against credible public sources reporting the final score and goal scorers from the second half. Resolution occurs after official match data is available and any potential disputes or reviews are settled. Traders should monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches to ensure they understand the exact timing and any platform-specific procedures for final settlement.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—often triggers sharp price moves. Early first-half performance and momentum heading into the second half typically influence trader positioning. Weather conditions, referee assignments, and historical head-to-head records may also sway sentiment. Major betting syndicates or professional traders entering the market can cause rapid repricing. Additionally, any unexpected developments during the first half, such as early goals or tactical adjustments, will likely prompt traders to reassess their second-half predictions.
