The event evaluates different margins of victory in the Nijmegen vs Sevilla professional Club Friendlies soccer match scheduled for July 31, 2026. All outcomes are determined solely by the score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with no consideration for extra time or penalty phases. Four specific conditions are evaluated: Nijmegen winning by more than 2.5 goals, Nijmegen winning by more than 1.5 goals, Sevilla winning by more than 1.5 goals, and Sevilla winning by more than 2.5 goals. Each condition represents a distinct threshold for victory margin, and the market resolves to 'Yes' only if the actual result meets one of these precise criteria. The rules clarify that Kalshi, the platform hosting this event, holds no official affiliation with the governing league or any associated entities, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
On Polymarket, this market reflects crowd-sourced probabilities that often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction markets can price in nuanced outcomes like exact scores, while sportsbooks typically offer point spreads or over/under totals. The crowd-driven approach may react faster to new information, creating price gaps that sports bettors and traders can monitor for potential value or contrarian signals.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, pricing mechanisms and user bases vary, leading to different odds for this market. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one venue might attract more European soccer fans, skewing its probabilities, while another could reflect global or U.S.-centric traders. Liquidity differences and local sentiment also shape these variations, so each platform can show a unique view of likely score outcomes.
Injuries, weather updates, or lineup changes could shift this market as the match nears. Key moments like star player availability or tactical announcements often drive rapid price swings. Traders will also watch early in-game scoring patterns — a fast goal or red card can reshape expectations for the final score and push odds dramatically before the final whistle.
