These markets evaluate how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Nebraska and Michigan State. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific period.
The markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Nebraska vs Michigan State college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined score exceeds the threshold (2.5, 5.5, 7.5, 10.5, 12.5, 13.5, 16.5, 19.5, 20.5, 23.5, or 27.5 points), the respective market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored during regulation 4th quarter play count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it may indicate that PredictionHero users have information or perspectives not fully incorporated by sportsbooks. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither guarantees accuracy.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the 4th quarter total. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy contracts for a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price dynamically adjusts based on supply and demand, providing a real-time assessment of expectations for the Nebraska vs Michigan State game's final quarter.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the 4th quarter of the Nebraska vs Michigan State game will be used to determine the winning contracts. The resolution will be based on official game statistics and will be publicly available following the conclusion of the game. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies for future events.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries for either the Nebraska or Michigan State teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, especially if they are expected to impact scoring, could also shift the odds. Furthermore, in-game performance during the first three quarters, particularly if one team establishes a dominant lead, would likely lead to adjustments in the market price. Public sentiment and any late-breaking analysis could also contribute to price fluctuations.
