Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Core resolution logic:

• Resolution occurs when the 2026 Big East Men's College Basketball Conference Tournament concludes and an official champion is declared.
• The winning team is determined by official NCAA records and Big East conference proceedings.
• All 11 Big East member schools (Marquette, Seton Hall, Butler, DePaul, Georgetown, Xavier, UConn, St. John's, Creighton, Providence, Villanova) are eligible to win.
• If a team is eliminated from tournament eligibility per Big East rules, Kalshi markets for that team resolve to No.
• If multiple teams are declared co-champions, Polymarket applies alphabetical ordering; Kalshi would resolve Yes for the alphabetically first team.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

• Tournament Cancellation or Postponement: If the 2026 Big East tournament is cancelled or postponed beyond March 31, 2026 11:59 PM ET, Polymarket resolves to Other. Kalshi binary markets for all teams resolve to No.
• No Champion Declared by Deadline: If no conference champion is officially declared by March 31, 2026 11:59 PM ET, Polymarket resolves to Other. Kalshi binary markets resolve to No.
• Multiple Co-Champions: If multiple teams are declared co-champions, Polymarket resolves in favor of the team whose name comes first alphabetically. Kalshi would resolve Yes for that same team.
• Team Ineligibility: If a team becomes ineligible to compete in the tournament per Big East rules, the corresponding Kalshi market resolves to No.
