This event group covers an NBA Summer League matchup between the Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers scheduled for July 10, 2026 at 4:30 PM ET. Polymarket offers a binary winner market, while Kalshi provides spread-based markets across multiple point differential thresholds.
In the upcoming NBA Summer League game, scheduled for July 10 at 4:30PM ET: If the Indiana Pacers win, the market will resolve to "Indiana Pacers". If the Cleveland Cavaliers win, the market will resolve to "Cleveland Cavaliers". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50. The result will be determined based on the final score including any overtime periods.
The event resolves based on the final point differential in the Cleveland vs Indiana Pro Basketball Summer League game scheduled for July 10, 2026. Cleveland victory margins are measured at thresholds of 1.5, 4.5, 7.5, 10.5, and 13.5 points, with each threshold representing a distinct outcome. Indiana victory margins are similarly measured at 1.5, 3.5, 6.5, and 9.5 points. The resolution is determined by comparing the final score differential to these specified thresholds—if Cleveland's margin exceeds the stated threshold, that outcome resolves affirmatively; if Indiana's margin exceeds their stated threshold, that outcome resolves affirmatively. Only one outcome will resolve to Yes based on the actual final margin of victory.
Polymarket and Kalshi attract different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which naturally creates price divergence. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform also settles outcomes using its own verification process and timing, so traders may weight information differently depending on which rules they expect to apply. Regulatory constraints and contract design also vary—Polymarket may frame the outcome one way while Kalshi uses a slightly different specification. These gaps create arbitrage opportunities for sharp traders monitoring both venues simultaneously.
