This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes the 2026-27 NBA regular season with the highest efficiency (EFF) per game average among qualified players. If the leader is not a listed player, the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". Efficiency (EFF) is the NBA's box-score efficiency statistic: (points + rebounds + assists + steals + blocks) minus (missed field goals + missed free throws + turnovers), averaged per game as published on NBA.com/stats. To qualify, a player must meet the NBA's minimum requirements for its official 2026-27 regular-season per-game leaderboard (a player who appears in at least 58 regular-season games qualifies), applied exactly as reflected on NBA.com/stats. Only 2026-27 NBA regular-season games count. NBA Cup group-play and knockout games other than the NBA Cup Championship game are regular-season games and count. Statistics from the preseason, the NBA Cup Championship game, the Play-In Tournament, the playoffs and the All-Star Game are excluded. If a player plays for more than one team during the season, his statistics from all teams are combined. In the event of a tie for the highest efficiency (EFF) per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with a higher total efficiency (EFF) across all games played during the 2026-27 NBA regular season. If a tie still persists, each tied player's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". If the 2026-27 NBA regular season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NBA statistics for completed games, with leaderboard qualification applied as the NBA applies it to the shortened season. If the 2026-27 NBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after April 25, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NBA in efficiency (EFF) per game within that timeframe, each listed player's market will resolve to "No" and the "Other" market will resolve to "Yes". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA, including NBA.com/stats; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in a player’s likelihood of leading the NBA in efficiency. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As traders exchange shares, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of all participants. Higher demand for shares in a particular player will drive up their price, indicating increased confidence in their chances of becoming the efficiency leader.
This market resolves around Apr 26, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the NBA efficiency leader is verified against credible public sources. The player with the highest regular season Player Efficiency Rating (PER) as officially calculated by NBA.com will be considered the winner. The PER statistic takes into account a wide range of a player’s statistical accomplishments, providing a comprehensive measure of their per-minute productivity. The resolution will be based on the official NBA statistics available after the conclusion of the 2026-27 regular season.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Player injuries are a major catalyst, as the absence of key contenders would shift probabilities. Strong or poor performance early in the season will also influence trader sentiment, potentially causing price fluctuations. Significant trades involving star players could reshape the landscape and alter the odds. Unexpected rule changes or shifts in coaching strategies could also play a role. Any news related to player health, performance, or team dynamics has the potential to move this market before it resolves.
