Natus Vincere and Gentle Mates compete in map 1 of their VCT EMEA Valorant match on July 23, 2026. The winner of this individual map will be determined by competitive play according to official tournament standards.
Resolution depends on which team wins map 1 of the scheduled match. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the original start time, or if the match or map is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before play begins on that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, resolution follows the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have direct financial exposure to accuracy. This market aggregates real-money forecasts from participants betting on the map outcome, which can reveal information gaps or contrarian views that traditional sportsbooks may not immediately price in. Comparing the two can highlight where consensus differs and which venue may be undervaluing or overvaluing each team's chances.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome share reflects the collective belief of active traders about the probability of that result. As new information emerges—team roster changes, recent performance, or map-specific strategies—traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. This dynamic repricing ensures the market continuously incorporates fresh signals and maintains an efficient forecast of the map winner.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the match concludes and the map result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the first map in the matchup. Resolution occurs after the event is officially confirmed, ensuring accuracy and preventing premature settlement. Traders should monitor the event schedule and any official announcements to stay informed of timing changes or postponements that could affect resolution.
Several factors can shift prices in this market before resolution. Team roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes can significantly alter perceived map odds. Recent head-to-head performance data, map-specific win rates, and strategic meta shifts in the game itself may prompt traders to reassess probabilities. Coaching changes, practice scrim results, or public statements from team management can also influence sentiment. Additionally, broader tournament context—such as momentum from prior matches or playoff implications—may cause traders to adjust their forecasts as the event date approaches.
