This market tracks the natural gas price at a specific moment in the future, using a standardized financial contract to ensure consistency and reliability in price determination.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the closing price of the natural gas NGDV6 contract at 5:00 PM EDT on August 27, 2026, observed in the 1-minute candlestick chart. Settlement uses the nearest active contract month, switching to the next contract if the current one expires within five business days. Prices are rounded to three decimal places, and the closing price represents the final trade price of the preceding one-minute interval. If data is unavailable at the exact time, the most recent published price is used. Each market has a unique threshold price; if the settlement price exceeds the respective threshold, that market resolves to 'Yes', otherwise 'No'.
