On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might see heavier betting on a favored scoreline, pushing its implied probability higher. Additionally, each venue has its own fee structure and market design, which can influence how traders place bets and, consequently, the displayed odds.
Injuries, weather updates, or tactical changes announced by coaches can shift this market as the match nears. Key moments like recent form, head-to-head statistics, or even last-minute lineup announcements often drive traders to adjust their bets. Any development that affects the perceived likelihood of specific scorelines may cause noticeable price movements on platforms tracking this market.
