On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price of shares will fluctuate, reflecting the evolving consensus. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand for these shares.
This market resolves around Oct 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Mytsyk vs. Korniichuk fight, as determined by the relevant boxing authorities. The fighter declared the winner by the official decision will be the outcome reflected in the market’s resolution. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions based on the final result.
Several signals could influence this market before the fight concludes. Any news regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference dynamics could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about fighter weight or health status would likely cause significant movement. Public analysis from boxing experts and any shifts in betting odds from traditional sportsbooks could also impact trading activity and, consequently, the prices within this market. The closer we get to Oct 2, 2026, the more sensitive the market will be to these types of updates.
