This market covers the professional tennis match between Murphy Cassone and Ethan Quinn in the 2026 ATP Mallorca Round Of 16 on June 24. The exact final set score of the match determines the outcome.
The market resolves based on the final set score of the Murphy Cassone vs Ethan Quinn professional tennis match in the 2026 ATP Mallorca Round Of 16. Each possible outcome corresponds to a specific set score result: Murphy Cassone winning 2-0, Murphy Cassone winning 2-1, Ethan Quinn winning 2-1, or Ethan Quinn winning 2-0. If the match does not occur before it starts due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market aggregates trader conviction about the exact final score, which can differ meaningfully from traditional sportsbook pricing. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees edge or where consensus is strongest, though each reflects distinct market dynamics and risk models.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares corresponding to each exact-score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the marginal trade—the last matched buy or sell—and moves as new orders arrive and existing positions are closed. Traders profit by correctly predicting the final score, and the market price converges toward the true probability as new information emerges and the event date approaches.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the event concludes and the final score is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact final score between the two competitors, and the market will settle based on that confirmed result. All shares corresponding to the correct exact score will be worth their full value, while all other outcomes expire worthless.
Market prices will shift in response to injury reports, recent form and momentum, head-to-head history, and any public statements from either competitor or their teams. Breaking news about training status, lineup changes, or external circumstances affecting either participant can trigger sharp repricing. As the event date draws closer, traders may adjust positions based on updated analysis, betting patterns at traditional sportsbooks, or expert commentary. Late-breaking developments in the hours before competition often produce the most volatile price swings.
