On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks may incorporate additional factors like historical performance and public betting trends, prediction markets focus purely on the collective wisdom of participants. The resulting odds can diverge significantly, especially in matches with less predictable outcomes or shifting momentum. Traders on Polymarket often react more quickly to real-time developments, which can cause this market to move faster than sportsbook lines. This difference provides a unique perspective on the match, emphasizing crowd-sourced forecasts over institutional models.
