Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This is because prediction markets allow anyone to participate and express their beliefs, potentially incorporating information not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. While sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, access to unique information, or simply variations in how risk is assessed. Comparing the two can offer a more comprehensive view of potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a specific exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. As more traders buy shares, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, constantly adjusting the probabilities based on trader activity and sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the MTK Budapest vs. WKW ETO FC Gyor match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on official match results as reported by recognized sports authorities. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified score.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either MTK Budapest or WKW ETO FC Gyor could significantly impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators, could also shift probabilities. Furthermore, large volume trades by influential participants on Polymarket could create short-term price movements, reflecting a change in overall market perception.
