Movistar KOI Fénix and GIANTX PRIDE compete in the second map of their League of Legends match in the LES 2026 tournament on July 21, 2026. The winner of this individual map will be determined by standard competitive League of Legends gameplay rules.
Resolution depends on the outcome of map 2 in the scheduled LES 2026 match between Movistar KOI Fénix and GIANTX PRIDE on July 21, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match or map is cancelled before play begins, or if a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs within that map, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders expressing genuine beliefs about outcomes. This market aggregates decentralized trader sentiment rather than a bookmaker's margin, which can result in sharper or more efficient pricing. Comparing the two reveals whether professional bettors and casual traders view the matchup differently than oddsmakers.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts reflecting their confidence in each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract represents a claim on the event result, and the current bid-ask spread reflects the tightness of trader agreement. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, participants adjust their orders, moving the price up or down. This dynamic pricing model ensures the market continuously incorporates fresh expectations about Map 2's winner.
This market resolves around Jul 21, 2026, once the Map 2 result is confirmed and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the map during the scheduled match. Until that time, traders can continue to buy and sell contracts based on their evolving forecasts. Resolution occurs automatically after the match concludes and the result is officially recorded.
Several factors may shift odds before Jul 21, 2026. Team roster changes, player injuries, or lineup announcements could alter perceived strength. Recent form, head-to-head records, and map-specific performance history often influence trader positioning. Pre-match interviews, coaching adjustments, or strategic leaks may also prompt repricing. Additionally, broader esports news—sponsorship changes, organizational updates, or competitive standings—can affect confidence in either team. Real-time match conditions, such as early round outcomes or momentum swings, will drive final price movements as the event approaches.
