Movistar KOI Fénix and GIANTX PRIDE compete in the first map of their League of Legends match in the LES 2026 tournament on July 21, 2026. The winner of this individual map will be determined by standard competitive League of Legends gameplay rules.
Resolution depends on the outcome of map 1 in the scheduled LES 2026 match between Movistar KOI Fénix and GIANTX PRIDE on July 21, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market resolves to fair market price. If the match or map is cancelled before play begins, or if a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs within that map, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through price discovery. For esports events like this one, prediction markets may respond faster to roster changes, team form, or recent scrim results, whereas sportsbooks adjust more conservatively. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal where informed traders see value or disagreement on the likely outcome.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and asks that determine the real-time probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has its own contract, and the price reflects the collective belief of active traders. As new information emerges—such as team announcements or recent performance—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. This mechanism ensures the market price converges toward the true likelihood of the result.
This market resolves around Jul 21, 2026, once the Map 1 result is final and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official match result reported by the esports league or tournament organizer. No ambiguity exists in esports map outcomes—one team wins and one loses—making resolution straightforward. Traders should monitor the match broadcast and official announcements to confirm when the market will settle.
Several factors can shift odds before the match concludes. Last-minute roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements may alter perceived team strength. Recent scrim results or public statements from coaches and players can influence trader sentiment. Map bans and selections, if known in advance, directly impact strategy and may move the market. Additionally, live match momentum—early kills, economy control, or round wins—will drive price movement as traders update their expectations in real time during the broadcast.
