Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing an outcome, the odds on Polymarket can diverge. This can occur due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply a broader range of participants contributing to the price discovery process. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before a large influx of betting activity from the general public.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions (like weather), or updated match previews from tennis analysts could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other matches involving these players could also impact perceptions of their form and ability. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed participants could signal a shift in expectations, causing the odds to move rapidly.
