Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market aims to reflect the true probabilities as assessed by traders. Often, prediction markets are seen as more accurate forecasters, especially when compared to initial sportsbook lines. However, it’s important to note that both represent different forms of forecasting, and discrepancies can arise due to varying information and participant biases.
